Vancouver Master chorale is committed to the health and safety of its singers, patrons and community supporters. Due to the continued spread and threat of the coronavirus COVID-19 across our state and country and the current restrictions on public gatherings, we have decided to cancel our remaining 2019-2020 season. This includes the 2020 Youth Scholarship Auditions and Competition. Please know that we didn’t arrive at this decision easily and we are all deeply saddened by these circumstances.
Vancouver Master Chorale is excited to announce the application process for our 2020 Vancouver Master Chorale $1000 Youth Vocal Scholarship. The Scholarship winner will be awarded $1000 to further their vocal studies, and will perform as our guest at our May 30th and 31st concerts. This year we are excited to offer a second youth scholarship. Our $500 Youth Vocal Scholarship Winner will also be invited to perform at our May concerts.
To be eligible to compete for these prestigious vocal awards, applicants must be a high school student (public, private, or home school) enrolled in Clark County or one of its neighboring counties (Skamania, Cowlitz, Columbia, or Multnomah).

The second can be from either classical, opera, or Broadway stage genres and submit recordings in either MP3 or MP4 format with their application no later than April 6, 2020. The pieces submitted with the application must be the same pieces performed during their audition and during our May concerts, if chosen as the winner.
